Healthy Cocoa-Banana Créme Smoothie: start your morning off RIGHT!

It’s raaaaining, it’s pooouring. My old man is snoooooooring! 

But I’m up & at ’em, getting mentally prepared to take on today’s project: painting the kitchen cabinets! I’m already halfway through but need to finish before Thursday when I’m hosting my first Javita coffee & tea tasting party. Lord knows I can’t have a half-done kitchen with about 10 guests present!! 

Here’s today’s Javita recipe– today I used the FocusFusion Cocoa for my blended breakfast smoothie. 

Healthy Cocoa-Banana Créme Smoothie:


  • 1 packet Javita FocusFusion Cocoa
  • 1 ripe banana 
  • 1.5 cups whole/ skim/ almond/ coconut milk
  • 1 scoop protein powder
  • 1 tablespoon cold-pressed coconut oil
  • 3 cubes of ice
  • 1 graham cracker
  • 1 dollop of lite whipped topping (optional)

Ultra simple. Just add all ingredients together (except whipped topping and 1/2 graham cracker) in blender and blend until smooth. Top with whipped topping (if desired) and crumbled graham cracker for the ultimate healthy indulgence!


Best healthy “Milkshake” EVER! 

Holy moly I just made the most delicious healthy milkshake I’ve EVER had!! I was preparing sample kits for my 12 girlfriends who wanted to try the weight-loss coffee and I decided: it’s HOT outside and I NEED a milkshake! But since I’m diabetic, that’s on the no-no list, so I decided to try a sample of the FocusFusion Cocoa I received in my shipment. MOTHER OF GOD, with a snack like this I can get a “sugar fix” without any actual sugar!

Here’s the recipe:

  • 1 Javita FocusFusion Cocoa packet
  • 8 oz of water or milk ( I used half water, half whole milk)
  • A dollop of lite Cool Whip (it’s surprisingly ok for diabetics!)
  • 4 cubes of ice

That’s IT!! And it tastes very similar to a Wendy’s Frosty 😛
